OCI TerraSus’ joint venture with Korea’s Kumho P&B Chemicals, OCI Kumho has been recognised with Platinum Award (Break Bulk Category) at the Bintulu Port Customer Centric Appreciation Night 2025.

The award was presented to Yoon Ik Kwon, General Manager for Supply Chain Management of OCI Kumho, by Dato’ Ruslan bin Abdul Ghani, Group CEO of Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad (BPHB) in recognition of OCI Kumho’s achievement in handling the highest volume of break bulk cargo for the ME1 Project Module Bulk, which exceeded 120,000 metric tonnes. This recognition underscores the strong partnership between OCI Kumho and BPHB, reflecting a shared commitment to operational excellence, reliability and efficiency in logistics and cargo management. Representing OCI TerraSus at the event were CEO Kwak Ki Hun, Director of Special Affairs Choi Sung Kil, General Manager of Procurement and Supply Chain Management Lee Kyu Jin and Manager for Business Planning Nur Shaffilah binti Mohd Zairi Tan. The Customer Centric Appreciation Night celebrated outstanding performance across 11 categories, acknowledging customers and partners who have contributed to Bintulu Port’s growth across industries such as liquid bulk, container and general cargo. Located in Samalaju Industrial Park, OCI Kumho manufactures epichlorohydrin (ECH), an essential raw material used in epoxy resins for coatings, electronics, automotive components and other industrial applications- powering sustainable growth across global industries.
