OCI TerraSus formalized its collaboration with SeDidik through Exchange of Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) on 5 November 2026, marking an important milestone in establishing a childcare centre for employees and their families in Bintulu.

The exchange ceremony was attended by Principal Director, Adj. Prof. Dr. Kim SooYeon and witnessed by Sarawak's Minister for Women, Early Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development, Dato Sri Fatimah Abdullah. Under the partnership, OCI TerraSus will provide the premises and necessary support, while SeDidik will oversee the operation and management of the childcare centre, known as TASKA SeDidik OCI TerraSus. The proposed centre will accommodate up to 40 children, providing a safe and nurturing environment that supports early childhood development through sensory, motor and interactive learning activities, while incorporating Korean-inspired teaching approaches, educational practices and values. As part of OCI TerraSus's employee welfare initiatives, the childcare centre aims to support working parents in balancing their professional and family responsibilities. By providing access to quality childcare facilities, the company seeks to enhance employee wellbeing, job satisfaction and long-term retention while fostering a more supportive and family-friendly workplace. Beyond employee welfare, the collaboration supports the Sarawak Government's efforts to strengthen access to quality early childhood education through public-private partnerships. The initiative reinforces OCI TerraSus's commitment to investing in its people, strengthening workforce sustainability and contributing to the wellbeing of families and communities in Sarawak.
