We welcome the latest measures announced by the U.S. to strengthen its domestic polysilicon industry and enhance the resilience of its solar and semiconductor supply chains from national security risks. The measures, which include a minimum import price of US$21 per kilogram for polysilicon, reflect the growing recognition of polysilicon as a strategically important material for the global solar and semiconductor industries. The measures are scheduled to take effect on 4 December 2026.
