The campaign was organised in collaboration with Association of Wives of Ministers and Deputy Ministers of Sarawak (SABATI) for medical professionals and OCI TerraSus staff to reinforce the company’s commitment to employee’s well-being, preventive healthcare and community partnership. In her welcoming remarks, OCI TerraSus Principal Director and Head of Corporate Management and Sustainability Office Adjunct Professor Dr. Kim Soo Yeon reaffirmed the company’s dedication to health and safety, especially for its more than 1,000 employees in a highly technical industry. “This year’s event featured a unique blend of health education and sports-led activities by world No.1 men’s doubles badminton player Seo Seung-jae. He led cardiopulmonary workout session and participated in friendly matches, using sport as a platform to promote active living,” she said. Dr. Kim highlighted OCI TerraSus’ commitment to youth empowerment, noting that badminton, a much-loved sport among young Malaysians, builds discipline, confidence and aspiration. Through Seo Seung-jae’s presence, she added, the company hoped to encourage the next generation to pursue their talents and passions. During the campaign, OCI TerraSus also announced its contribution toward the renovation of the Radiology Counter at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH). Life Campaign reflects OCI TerraSus’ belief that health is a shared responsibility and that meaningful impact is achieved when corporations, communities and healthcare professionals work together. The event was officiated Deputy Minister for Public Health, Housing and Local Government II (Public Health & Housing) Datuk Michael Tiang. Also present were SABATI acting president Dato' Doreen Mayang Uggah and Director of Sarawak General Hospital Dr. Ngian Hie Ung.
